Learning To Live And Lead With Purpose

In a community with other interns, you will learn how to lead and live on purpose by studying the following curriculum:

As you study The Purpose Driven Church you will discover how to build a church based on the five principles of The Great Commission and Great Commandment: fellowship, discipleship, ministry, evangelism and worship.

Purpose Driven Church topics to include:

• Seeing the Big Picture
  
• Becoming a Purpose-Driven Church
  
• Reaching Out to Your Community
  
• Bringing in a Crowd
  
• Building up the Church

We will also study The Purpose Driven Life. You will be challenged to live a life on purpose based on the same five principles from The Great Commission and Great Commandment.

The Purpose Driven Life topics to include:

• The reason you’re here
  
• You were planned for God ’s pleasure
  
• You were formed for God ’s family
  
• You were created to become like Christ
  
• You were shaped for serving God
  
• You were made for a mission

In addition to the above books, your shared learning pathway will include learning essential ministerial topics to better equip you to lead a healthy church on purpose.

Pastoral Care topics to include:

• Church doctrinal issues
  
• Counselling
  
• Celebrate Recovery
  
• Funerals
  
• Weddings

While you are working with your specific team, you will also have the opportunity to learn about all the purposes in the church through our Purpose Rotations. During each purpose rotation you will work with the purpose team to determine a purpose project that you will work on during your rotation with them.
